Simply put, Grace Alliance Chapel is an Acts 1:8 church that wants to make followers of Jesus Christ “here, there, and everywhere.” We are active in serving the needs of our immediate community, but are also financially supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ who are serving overseas as well. Here are some of the workers through the Christian & Missionary Alliance whom we hope to continue to support!

Rick and tammie romano - Dominican republic
Rick and his family have been in the Dominican Republic since 2012, serving with Envision through 2014 in the DR. In the winter of 2014 he moved from Envision to Marketplace Ministries within the C&MA…at that same time he started his own non-profit organization called Mission Twentyfive 35. M25/35 is situated on 10 acres of land in the Cibao region where he has spent the last 2 years working: we have planted plantains and yuca, built a furniture/plastic recycling factory, aquaponics greenhouse, chicken coup, and purchased several goats. His desire is to reach the least of these through job training, food/water, education, and medical. Using these four foundations as ways to share the gospel, and meet the needs of people in remote areas of the DR.

Since being commissioned in October, we are now working through the VISA application process as well as working closely with our CPD leadership to transition our church in a healthy way. We are preparing for Pre-Field training in Colorado Springs in June, time with family on the East Coast in July, and we departed for language school in Albertville, France in August 2018.
We love our Acts 1:8 family, and are grateful to every district (Metro, EPAD, and CPD) that has been a part of our journey so far, every church that has played a role in our overall spiritual growth, and every individual and mentor who has encouraged, exhorted, and walked alongside us over these years. With every struggle and every success, the faithfulness of Christ has been made evident through each of you. Thank you and Praise Him!
