This workshop is not just for couples. It is designed for anyone who wants to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships at work, home family etc.
- Healthy Conflict Engagement (this will include self awareness pieces of the Pain/Peace Cycles; Time-Outs; Boundaries)
- Healthy Communication (Connecting with deeper emotions and articulating them through "I-Statements")
- Forgiveness (What it is. What it isn't. Forgiveness doesn't always involve reconciliation)
Michelle & Sam Park
Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an adjunct professor for Nyack’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Apart from counseling and teaching, Michelle enjoys mentoring the next generation of leaders. As such, she is on the teaching staff for a premiere women's leadership development program called, Empower. Most of all, she enjoys the everyday moments with her husband and children, that make life joyful and full.
Sam graduated from the Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) in Nyack, NY in 2002 and shortly after Sam married Michelle, he whisked her off to Warsaw, Poland where they were on staff as faith missionaries for 3 1/2 years. Upon returning to New York, Sam and Michelle planted The Sycomore, A C&MA church in Queens. Sam is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry at ATS. Anyone that knows Sam knows that he is a passionate man and he's most passionate about the 3 F's in his life: Faith, Family & Fishin'!
